It is August 1955 and a UFO lands on a farm at Kelly, Kentucky just up the road a few miles from Hopkinsville. The farmhouse occupants are skeptics who soon become devout believers as their home is attacked by a group of curious aliens and they are drawn into a gun battle which lasts for hours in their fight for survival. The police and military become involved but are not much help. The family is left to fend for themselves as they battle throughout the night in order to survive the ordeal.

I wanted to love it, but it's far too short and very dry, Wikipedia-like. I know the story but I was hoping for a lot more detail. That being said, if you don't know the story, it's a great one, so you could use this as a primer, no problem.Product details

Very short book, only 36 pages. Sounds like a good idea of how things happened that night but the book is grammatically incorrect and repetitive. It's almost as if a child wrote it. My next read is Alien Legacy by one of the Sutton girls.
Poorly written with many misspelled words. Disappointing.
what an amazing event. there should be a new movie made today with the special effects available. I hope to try and visit the location of the event one day.
